DAY 1: ARUSHA/MOSHI – SHIRA GATE – SIMBA CAMP
Begin with a scenic drive from Arusha or Moshi to the Londorossi Park Gate for registration. Continue to Shira Gate (3,600 m), where trekking officially starts. Hike through heath and moorlands to Simba Camp where you spend your first night on the mountain.
