DAY 1: NAIROBI – MOUNT KENYA NATIONAL PARK (CHOGORIA ROUTE / YOUR SELECTED ROUTE)

Pickup from Nairobi hotel or airport in the morning. Drive to the Mount Kenya National Park entry point via Nanyuki, enjoying scenic highland views.

Check in at your base lodge and receive a pre-climb briefing. Overnight at the lodge with dinner and rest to prepare for the ascent.

DAY 2: BASE CAMP – MOUNT KENYA CLIMB

After an early breakfast, begin your mountain ascent following the selected route (Chogoria, Sirimon, or Naro Moru).

Enjoy breathtaking views of alpine lakes, forested valleys, and rocky ridges. Lunch is served on the trail. Continue trekking towards first camp on the mountain. Evening rest and acclimatization.

DAY 3: SUMMIT ATTEMPT & DESCENT

Wake up very early for the summit attempt, aiming for Point Lenana (or advanced peaks Nelion/Batian for experienced climbers).

Witness sunrise over Mount Kenya’s glaciers and highland peaks. Descend gradually to lower camps after a midday rest and lunch. Return to base lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

DAY 4: DESCENT – NAIROBI

After breakfast, complete the descent and transfer back to Nairobi. Arrive in the afternoon at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
